Cobi's

This Pet Nat is made from biodynamically grown Garganega, Glera, Muscat Blanc and Trebbiano grapes that are bottled prior to the end of fermentation. The result is a slightly hazy sparkling wine with flavours of lemons, green apples and almonds. This is a natural wine with plenty of zest and freshness.

TRESOMM was founded in 2017 by Taylor Grant, Conner Mitchell, and Christopher Miller MS and is based in the Valle de Guadalupe in Baja, Mexico. The winery crafts thought-provoking bottles from indigenous Italian and French varieties, including Grignolino and Aligoté. Their varietal Grignolino rosé is marked by zesty acidity and flavors of strawberry, red currant, and citrus, which give way to a lingering & lip-puckering finish.

The 2022 Hermann, as it is referred to on the consumer label, is a barely off-dry wine (with 9 g/l of residual sugar) made from fruit mainly harvested in the steep part Klüsserather Bruderschaft. It proves quite herbal, smoky, and spicy at first, before revealing direct notes of earthy spices, greengage, lemon curd, and yellow flowers. The wine proves tight and herbal on the straightforward and zesty palate. It proves a little bit smoother in the nicely animating finish. The aftertaste is still quite tart and already more dry-tasting than off-dry. This is a very good light and racy dry-tasting Riesling.
